Innovative design solutions for PIX’s power transmission belt display

EIMA International 2024 in Bologna, Italy, presented an exciting opportunity for PIX, a global leader in power transmission belts, to showcase its cutting-edge products. PIX entrusted us, Connect Displays, to create a stand design that highlighted its product innovation while optimizing functionality and aesthetics.

PIX required an exhibition stand that:

Highlights its diverse range of power transmission belts with clear, organized displays.
Features a custom-built, durable MDF display panel.
Maximizes visitor engagement within a compact 32 sq. m. (8×4 m) space.
Uses sustainable and reusable materials in alignment with its eco-friendly initiatives.

Challenges and our solutions

1. Crafting the multi-belt display panel

The central feature of the stand was a robust display panel that showcased PIX’s products with precision and style.

Material expertise: We constructed the panel using a 25mm-thick wooden plank for durability and 5mm-thick custom acrylic holders for the belts.
Sleek presentation: By ensuring a 20mm gap behind the panel, the belts appeared flush-mounted, creating a clean and professional look.

Attention to detail: Acrylic holders were cut and aligned circumferentially for uniform spacing and an impeccable finish.

2. Optimizing stand layout for engagement

We designed the stand to enhance visitor flow and maximize visibility.

Strategic placement: The display panel was positioned prominently to captivate attention while allowing free movement.
Interactive features: Digital screens and high-quality graphics were seamlessly integrated to boost visitor interaction.

3. Sustainability at the core

PIX’s eco-conscious values inspired our use of sustainable materials.

Eco-friendly components: Durable wooden and acrylic elements were chosen for their reusability.
Efficient setup: Modular construction ensured quick assembly and dismantling, reducing waste and transportation costs.

Technical Details

Our meticulous craftsmanship ensured:

Perfect dimensions: The belt display was designed with precise measurements, accommodating a total belt length of 590mm with a 10mm tolerance for accuracy.
Sturdy support: The wooden panel was securely fixed to a 100mm-thick partition wall for added stability.
Neat finish: Custom acrylic holders were aligned flawlessly, creating a visually striking centerpiece.
